Many companies decide to have offices in the Asiatic region and many companies choose Thailand as the place to do it but what motivates them to do this? Many companies now are seeing Singapore and the like as a more attractive venue for an office due to the red tape of having a business in Thailand and also the obvious reasons such as the high amount of corruption. There are also tales of staff being employed who are not qualified or companies taking advantage of the corruption to ensure their own survival which would obviously put in to question the actual legality of the company to start with.

Why do people have businesses in Thailand compared to other places? Why is it that some businesses are successful whereas others are not? From my own experience it is down to money. For those that do not know a foreigner who lives and works in Thailand is paid far more than the average Thai person despite their skillset. This is because the Thai government feels that the foreigners are bringing knowledge to the country that they can benefit from and use to improve the economy but to the foreigner it usually just means an easier life than back home and this can sometimes lead to resentment as after all foreigners are guests in Thailand and so should treat Thailand’s customs and people with the respect they deserve.

Boring to get Thailand 30 days visa run
The visit visas to Thailand usually have a visa run of 30 days i.e. you have to leave the country after 30 days, get your passport re-stamped with a fresh visa and come back to Thailand. This can be a long and tiring process especially if you plan to set up a business in the country. In order to reduce the hassle that people have to go through in order to get a 30 days visa run, the government of Thailand has recently introduced a non immigrant b visa Thailand option which allows you to have multiple entries in one year or a single entry for three months. However, since it is a non immigrant b visa Thailand, there are some prerequisite that have to be met before a person is eligible for this kind of option.
